Abstract
The air express industry moves not only physical packages but also shipment information. Keen market competition means that only those operating in an excellent quality environment will survive. Technology management is one major ingredient to help achieving quality excellence. The article discusses materials, methods and IT innovations, with real-life illustrations drawn from the DHL organisation in the Asia Pacific region.
