Abstract :
This paper presents the architecture of dual mode audio reconstruction filter which can be used for AC-3 and MPEG. The structure consists of the real FFT (fast Fourier transform), the efficient MPEG windowing, and a polyphase filter for rate conversion. The theoretical analysis and implementation are also covered. The proposed dual mode filter and windowing algorithms reduce the computational complexity and hardware requirements as a result
