Abstract
The dockland area of East London, once the hub of British trade, has, over the years, become a desolate wasteland. The steps being taken to attract new industry, including the Government´s designation of the Isle of Dogs as one of the original 11 Enterprise Zones, are now gathering momentum, giving the area a new lease of life and hope for the future
