Abstract
DEA based Malmquist index approach is used to analyze Jing-Jin-Ji regional technical differences empirically, Jing-Jin-Ji regional total factor productivity and its constituents changing in 2000-2011 is researched, from the provinces to see the total factor productivity, it is fluctuating to increase, implying that the adjustment of national regional development strategy begins to work out. Seeing from the sub-regions, the total factor productivity of thirteen municipalities in Jing-Jin-Ji region mostly descend except for Beijing, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Tangshan and Langfang, which shows Jing-Jin-Ji region is not developed in a balance, the economic growth quality of most areas in Hebei is much lower by a great disparity with Jing-Jin. The average shows the Jing-Jin-Ji regional total factor productivity is dropping, which mainly caused by the declining technical progress rate, so the increasing of TFP in Jing-Jin-Ji haven´t reached a technical progress supported stage, hindering the economic growth pattern transforming successfully. Based on above analysis, some countermeasure and suggestion about Jing-Jin-Ji region are proposed to enhance independent innovative ability, improve the transportation network and optimize industry structure, narrowing the technical gap and realizing its economy developing harmoniously fast.
