  • Abstract
    By using Data Envelopment Analysis method, a model is built in this paper to evaluate the investing efficiency of listed corporations in the field of automobile manufacturing in China. With 26 listed companies of the automobile industry as example, the paper calculates the total efficiency, technological efficiency, scale efficiency and the scale efficiency return situations of all 26 companies by using the model. Through projection analysis, the adjustment was done on the input and output values to the DMUs which were evaluated as inefficient. This enables inefficient DMUs to be relatively efficient. According to the result, this paper provides suggestions of improving the efficiency of the innovation investment of listed companies, which set a base for making scientific management decisions.
