Abstract :
Cell averaging and other statistic CFAR detection of gamma distributed targets against K-distributed clutter in multi-look SAR images are studied and formulated. Two numerical methods for evaluating the performances of the CFAR detectors are described. Numerical results in terms of detectability losses due to `spikiness´ of the clutter are plotted and discussed
