Abstract
A simple extension of the sampling theorem to nonbandlimited exponentially decaying functions is reported. After an immediate transformation, logarithmically spaced samples are used to reconstruct the original function. One of the most interesting properties of this method is that it enables measuring the time delay introduced by narrowband systems very accurately
