Abstract
This paper take 31 regions nationwide as sample, select 15 indicators from four levels, and use the improved entropy method, for evaluating and comparing the 2012 level of intensive use of agricultural land. The results showed that: Overall, the intensive use of agricultural land in the eastern part of the relatively high level, significantly better than the western region, there is a certain relationship with the level of economic development, but not entirely determined by the level of economic development; addition, there are significant regional differences between the intensive agricultural land in the use of horizontal space. Scientific evaluation of the intensive use of agricultural land is significant for sustainable land development; based on the results of analysis, this paper will classify the level of each region according to the intensive use of agricultural land, which has some practical value.
