Abstract :
Recently, a novel full-duplex wireless technology attracts attention in wireless research field. Full-duplex wireless enables transmission and reception simultaneously in a single channel [1]. Intuitively, the full-duplex wireless has a great potential to achieve throughput improvement comparing to the conventional half-duplex wireless. However, since existing medium access control (MAC) protocols such as carrier sense multiple access with collision avoidance (CSMA/CA) are designed for half-duplex wireless, they cannot bring out the potential of the full-duplex wireless.
