The cloud goes mainstream [Editor´s Note]

Coud computing is a hot topic in the technical world these days, but if you asked people on the street about cloud computing, they would probably think you were talking about the weather. Surveys have found that most people are completely unaware of what cloud computing means or whether they are using it. At best someone might be aware of cloud computing as web services or, as Steve Jobs described it at WWDC 2011, as a "hard disk in the sky."
