Abstract :
We present analytical formulations of the numerical reflection coefficients of the isotropic-dispersion finite-difference time-domain (ID-FDTD) scheme for a planar dielectric boundary. The reflection coefficients and the effective dielectric constants are exactly formulated by using the eigenvalue method . The formulations are numerically verified.
