President´s Message

Hello again. Much has happened since my last message in the Magazine. First, I would like to congratulate and thank Danilo Erricolo (General Chair) and Mahta Moghaddam (Vice-General Chair) for the magnificent job they did in organizing the 2012 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and USNC-URSI National Radio Science Meeting, held in Chicago. Chicago was a wonderful venue, and the Symposium was an outstanding success. I would also like to thank Susan Hagness (Technical Program Chair), and Nader Behdad and Anthony Grbic (Technical Program Co-Chairs), for an incredible technical program. There were over 1700 papers at the Symposium. There is also a long list of other individuals to thank for helping make the symposium a success. So many things have to fall into place, and so much happens in the background. I don´t think those of us who attend truly have an appreciation for all of the hard work that goes into making everything work out so perfectly. Thanks to all of you. Last but certainly not least, I would like to thank Danilo´s wife, Marie, for all of the hard work she did in making sure the social program and so many other things went smoothly.
