Abstract :
A combination of interleaving and switched-capacitor techniques is used to introduce a high step-up converter in this paper. High voltage gain without very high duty cycle and transformer can be achieved in the proposed converter. The configuration of the proposed converter not only reduces the current stress but also decreases the input current ripple, which would reduce the conduction losses and electromagnetic interference (EMI). Another important feature of this converter is the lower blocking voltage across the switches of converter, which allows the utilization of switches with low resistances. In order to verify the proposed converter, operation principle, theoretical analysis and ideal waveforms of the converter are presented. Finally, the proposed converter is simulated using PSpice to verify the theoretical analysis.
