Abstract :
This paper presents the implementation of MPEG-2 Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) decoder on a fixed-point DSP. AAC is a powerful coding algorithm and offers the high-quality multi-channel surround audio. We also discuss the implementation issue and effort in porting AAC algorithms to the DSP.
