Abstract :
An adaptive compensation zero circuit for a DC-DC buck converter is presented. The compensation resistance of the proportional compensator is dynamically adjusted according to the different output load conditions, and achieves an adequate system phase margin under different load conditions. In the experimented load-transient response, the dip voltage of 50-mV and a maximum settling time of 25--s are observed with the proposed circuit for a load current variation from 0 to 1-A.
