Abstract :
Infinite series representations are derived for the bivariate (correlated) Weibull-gamma composite distribution with arbitrary fading parameters. The joint probability density function, the joint moments, and the joint cumulative distribution function are obtained. Based on these theoretical expressions, the outage probability of dual-branch selection diversity is evaluated. Furthermore, the joint characteristic function is also derived.
