Abstract :
A stroboscope apparatus suitable for frequency measurement is described. The apparatus employs a thyratron, and demands only 0.6 volt-ampere from the source of standard frequency. The operation of the device is described, and the effective length of each light flash is shown to be approximately 50 microseconds.
