  • Abstract
The dual mechanical port machine (DMPM) is a new generation electrical machine with two rotors and one stator. The DMPM can be used as an EVT system regarding to independently rotation capability of its two rotors. When this machine is applied in a hybrid electric vehicle, it can perform all the functions of Toyota Hybrid System by more compact and integrated structure. In this article, a new control strategy, which is suitable for DMPM based HEV using the ICE in optimum operation line, is proposed. Also a simulated model for determination of optimum degree of hybridization (DOH) is created in MATLAB.
