Abstract :
A compact 16×16 channel arrayed-waveguide grating multiplexer with 1.6 nm (200 GHz) channel spacing at 1550 nm has been fabricated using acrylate polymers. The crosstalk is <-25 dB, uniformity is ±0.5 dB and on-chip loss is 7.7 dB. Device sizes as small as 16.5×12 mm2 have been achieved
