Abstract :
Unrepeatered transmission over a record length of 150 km of nonzero-dispersion fibre at 100 Gbit/s is reported. These results were achieved using decorrelated optical multiplexing of five 20 Gbit/s signals. The transmitter pulse source, the optical demultiplexer and the clock recovery are based on electroabsorption modulators
