Abstract :
A compact lowpass filter using a stepped impedance hairpin resonator is presented. To achieve wide stopband rejection, radial stubs were introduced. The new lowpass filter has been analysed, simulated and fabricated. Measured results are in good agreement with the electromagnetic simulation, and the circuit only occupies 0.08λg ×0.08λg.
