  • Abstract
    Analysis of topologies requires a complete performance evaluation of topology based on the metrics like latency, throughput and energy. In network on chip (NoC) based system, network metrics decide the efficiency of the system rather than its physical parameters. In the present design, complete performance evaluation of different regular topologies is carried out. The network simulation is performed on Noxim, which is modified to perform simulation for different regular topologies such as torus and twisted torus. A comprehensible analysis based on metrics such as hop count, path diversity and degree as well as other network parameters is provided along with the graphical analysis of the network parameters.
