  • Abstract
    A novel technique to implement a digitally controlled precise dB-linear variable gain amplifier (VGA) in CMOS technology is proposed. The technique is used to realise a robust low power CMOS VGA circuit without component spread. Experimental results from a 1.2 μm CMOS chip are provided
