Abstract
While educational institutions have been experimenting on a small scale with electronic teaching machines, a business institution has started using a nationwide network of them. There are 900 computer-controlled “teachers” the size of desk tops, in full operation, located in 89 cities throughout the United States. All are connected to a central electronic computer in Denver by high-speed telephone lines.
