Abstract :
Attractors have always been an area of great interest for researchers for its wide variety of applications since the discovery of chaotic attractors. Lately, a new type of attractors was discovered (derived from chaotic attractor) having many scrolls in their phase plane plot differing from traditional chaotic attractors having generally two scrolls. In this paper, synchronization of multi-scroll systems using Extended Kalman Filter, in presence of process noise and measurement noise is presented. This synchronization can be used for systems used in secure communication and many other applications. To illustrate the effectiveness of this synchronization scheme, numerical example based on two different multi-scroll attractors is presented with elaborate simulation results.
