Abstract
To solve the problem of coupling between torque and suspension force of 12/8 bearingless switched reluctance motors (BSRMs), the traditional 12/8 BSRMs structure is optimized by designing a new relationship between stator and rotor pole arcs. This document analyzes the distribution characters of inductance, torque and suspension force, derives a mathematical model of suspension force of new structure BSRM, and proposes a decoupling control method for this motor.
