Abstract :
A case study investigating the mixing of constant and variable rate sources is presented, involving higher bandwidth variable rate sources than have been used in previous work. Simulation results suggest that the bandwidth allocated does depend on the proportions of traffic in the mix, and not just on the characteristics of each source.
