  • Abstract
This paper proposes a novel strategy to optimize the dynamic performance of PV system- concerning low power output of centralized PV system under severe mismatch condition and high costs of distributed PV system with several converters. A kind of reconfigurable PV system is transforming between Total Cross Tied topology and multiple PV strings integrated with DC/DC converters with maximum power point tracking functions. The two different modes can adapt to variable mismatch conditions intelligently, and the power output is significantly improved comparing with traditional series-parallel topology. The judgment of topology reconstruction depends on the maximum power output of the two PV system topologies. The inference of irradiance on the mismatch module depends on the relationship between current of mismatch module and the on- plane irradiance of this module.
