Saving British science

Over 2000 of Britain´s academic research scientists have banded together to form the Save British Science Society (SBSS). In a recent interview with Roger Dettmer, Prof. J.P. Connerade, Professor of Atomic and Molecular Physics, Imperial College, and a member of the SBSS national executive committee, described some of the factors that have led to the establishment of the SBSS, and his remedies for preventing further erosion of the British science base
