Electronics in the National Curriculum

Many electronics teachers are asking whether the electronics specialist/enthusiast has a future role in the context of the National Curriculum. Yet more are seeming somewhat depressed by the apparent lack of a role for the subject pre-16. This concern and pessimism is not a view I hold; indeed I feel that much of the outstanding work that has been done by electronics teachers over the past few years is embodied and strengthened in the current (March 1990) proposals.
