Abstract :
Due to the low dynamic range of image capture devices, a single still image is usually insufficient to represent a high contrast scene. Exposure fusion can enhance the dynamic range of an image, so that it can display both the details in the bright and dark regions. A novel exposure fusion method is proposed in this paper. Both the textural and color transform are introduced in our algorithm to preserve the details and color information in the resulting image. Experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms the compared algorithms.
