  • Abstract
Inspiration, dedication, patience, and an uncanny ability to prioritize are often the hallmarks of graduate students. Working toward one´s graduate degree can be a harrowing experience under the best of circumstances, but many engineers are doing so even while working full time in their fields of interest. That real-world experience in industry often supports the practical knowledge taught in the classroom, giving professional engineers an advantage on their classmates who have yet to enter the job market.
