Abstract :
MOORE??S LAW has got a lot to answer for. What started out as an observation of a trend ?? albeit one that has held-up pretty well for 40 years ?? has encouraged people to come up with a bunch of other `laws?? that describe what technology can do. Few had the benefit of actual figures on which to base the trend that might become the law.
