  • Abstract
    This paper presents the latest fingerprint sensor technologies including optical sensors, DC capacitive silicon sensors, RF capacitive silicon sensors, pressure sensors, thermal sensors and also ultra-sound sensors. The advantages and drawbacks of each technology are also reviewed. The suitable applications of each technology are also presented.
