The medium should not be the message

What is missing on the Internet, and what we hope to see in the 21st Century, is not technology; what is missing is a true sense of community in the form of public works projects. Eventually, the Internet will disappear from the covers of magazines and newspapers and will instead appear in community hearings and local discussions.
