Abstract :
An accurate and reliable data base is important for power system. This paper presents a new state calculation method based on optimal calculation path-finding network search technique. The core of the algorithm lies in selecting the optimal calculation path between a pair of buses, which takes measurement redundancy, accuracy and direction into consideration. The path-selecting algorithm is based on integer linear programming. Voltage consistency check, PMU/SCADA consistency check, KCL consistency check and KVL consistency check are executed for bad data identification. The proposed method has been illustrated on IEEE 14 bus system and the numerical results show that the method can be easily implemented in state calculation and bad data identification, and has a high accuracy compared with the traditional breadth-first search method and the Weighted Least Squares (WLS) based state estimation.
