The changing face of the infosphere

We are on the verge of the next real revolution in our experience of the infosphere-the infinite ocean of electronic information all around us-a revolution in which the very idea of tethering oneself to a keyboard and mouse and interacting in the infosphere by peering at a CRT will eventually seem rather “quaint”.
