Abstract
In the Western world, the number of people in retirement is growing at an unprecedented rate. There is a lot of potential among the elderly, especially among retired engineers, which ought to be harnessed and encouraged for the benefit of the nation and also for the individuals themselves. The article explores this situation and suggests some ways of tapping this resource
