Abstract :
In July, we had a very successful Chapter Chairs´ lunch meeting in Chicago during the 2012 IEEE AP-S international Symposium. Our immediate past AP-S President, Prof. Magdalena Salazar Palma, was present at the meeting, along with twenty-five Chapter Chairs or representatives (Figure 1). After thanking all the Chapter Chairs for their outstanding service to the IEEE, I made a presentation about Chapter counts, reporting status, and financial summaries. After that, there was a fruitful discussion on how the Society can better serve our Chapter members.
