Abstract :
Two approximate Crank-Nicolson finite-difference time-domain (CN-FDTD) methods are presented for a two-dimensional TEz wave. The stability conditions of the proposed methods are presented analytically and the numerical performance of these methods is demonstrated by comparing with those of the alternating-direction implicit (ADI) FDTD and conventional FDTD methods.
