Abstract :
We consider the performance of code-division multiple-access (CDMA) communications. In particular, we illustrate the use of a semianalytical approach which is combined with importance sampling for the efficient evaluation of the average bit-error rates (BERs) of asynchronous direct-sequence (DS) based CDMA systems employing binary phase shift keying (BPSK) modulation along with specific signature sequences for a variety of system parameters
