Abstract :
This year is expected to bring the greatest changes in the British Post Office since its incorporation as a nationalised industry in 1969. The present organisation could be split in two, and the statutory monopolies the Post Office has enjoyed may be altered. In the view of its Chairman, Sir William Barlow, the reorganisation is desirable, but changes in the monopoly ought to be considered carefully
