Editor´s preface

This bibliography has been compiled from two separate bibliographies, one of which was prepared at the Georgia Institute of Technology in the course of a research program conducted for the Department of the Army,¹ and the other was prepared at the Radio Corporation of America as a consequence of investigations carried out on a large systems complex. The former was prepared by the first five authors listed above, and the latter was prepared by the last named author.
