Abstract
System X is the complete approach to telecommunication in that it provides for the total network requirements from local exchanges to trunk exchanges, administration centres and automanual centres. Furthermore, each of the exchange applications covers a wide range of sizes. System X has been designed as a set of functional building bricks from which a variety of exchanges can be constructed
