Business viewdata - more than an information library

Recent papers and articles have discussed the progress of business viewdata and have predicted that this information-retrieval system has a wider role to play in the `integrated electronic office¿ of the future. This article looks at the reasons for this view and identifies some areas in which practical results are likely to to seen in the short term
