Abstract :
The availability of the low-priced microprocessor and other associated large-scale-integration (l.s.i.) devices ¿ `the microprocessor revolution¿ ¿ is not only causing politicians and trade unions to rethink policies and attitudes, and industrialists to plan new strategies, it also means problems for technical and project managers throughout Britain, who now find that the microprocessor is a component part of some new equipment they are currently manufacturing or developing
