Professionalism and social aspects of engineering ¿ the case for TUC affilation

Many professional engineers and managers, suspicious of TUC-affiliated unions, have formed staff associations to facilitate collective bargaining on their behalf with their employers. Here it is argued that staff associations should progress to membership of an appropriate TUC union
