Abstract :
The ten papers in this special issue focus on the advanced design and control of switched reluctance machines (SRMs). Some of the topics addressed include optimal design of SRMs, elimination of position sensors, advanced control methods, new power electronic converters, advanced modeling and measurement techniques, and new computational tools for quantification of acoustic noise and vibration in SRM drives.
