  • Abstract
In China, where intellectual property rights protection has plenty of room for improvement and where consumers´ disposable income remains a fraction that in the western world, IT vendors have been forced to innovate to create business models that ensure a return on their investment. While technology innovations are widespread in China, it is often the business strategy that sets the winners apart from the losers. While there are many new business models in use in China, this article will focus on four in particular - price for value, advertising plus placement, mobile devices and mobile services. These models shed light of how to deliver and monetize all intellectual property-based and telecom services products into new market.
