The term `electroproduction¿ encompasses the whole range of processes and techniques related to the manufacture or processing of goods where the use of electricity is an essential feature. In the past it has not been generally recognised as a subject, in its own right, that should form part of the many educational curricula covering the varied aspects of engineering
